AZODINE is a mineral complementary feeding stuff for horses To maintain a healthy muscular function in horses with elevated muscle electrolyte needs. Rich in calcium and sodium salts, electrolytes that play an important role in good muscle function.
A muscle targeted electrolyte formulation for the support of healthy muscle function and recovery. Increased muscle metabolism can lead to specific increased requirements in the muscle electrolytes, calcium and sodium.
Usage: AZODINE is particularly recommended for horses whose muscle electrolyte needs are elevated (e.g. after intense exercise).
• Horses (500 kg): 50 g (2 scoops) per day.
• Foals/ ponies: 25 g (1 scoop) per day.
It is recommended to give for a 30 day period. To be mixed with the feed. Water should be available at all times.
Pack size: 2 Kg (40 days’ supply)
Nutritional value: Electrolyte balance and the interactions between different electrolytes have an impact on muscle function in the horse. An imbalance can disrupt the muscle function in otherwise healthy horses. During exertion, a large amount of electrolytes are lost via sweat, whilst sodium and chloride account for the majority, calcium and magnesium are equally lost through this process. A regular supply of sodium and calcium can limit the risk to muscle tension episodes in horses. AZODINE supplies electrolytes particularly abundant in equine sweat: sodium, chloride and calcium.
Usage: The sodium and calcium levels in AZODINE are particularly recommended in association with EXCELL E liquid or powder to aid in the muscular recovery of horses.
